BMW Motorsport has officially switched to BBS wheel rims for its GT3 cars, replacing the problematic Rimstock products. The decision was prompted by technical anomalies and Rimstock’s bankruptcy, with a cracked wheel rim forcing a factory driver out of a race. BMW is confident the new BBS rims will resolve the potential rim cracks that first appeared during testing in 2021.
