Ferrari’s Antonio Fuoco secures his first pole position since last year’s Le Mans 24 Hours, expertly managing his tyres to set two blistering laps in the WEC 2023 Hyperpole session. The Italian’s clever strategy, which involved completing two warmup laps, paid off as he clocked a 1m29.466s lap time, 0.419s clear of the field.

In a pulse-pounding qualifying session at the Berlin E-Prix, Mahindra Racing’s Edoardo Mortara secured his first pole position of the 2023 Formula E season, posting a blistering 1m01.741s lap time to lead the pack. This marks Mortara’s first points of the season, and Mahindra’s as well, after a challenging campaign thus far.
